Once considered Charles Xavier’s greatest foe, the Shadow King has had a lasting impact on the X-Men and many of their members. He possessed Karma for months, tormented Storm as a child, and nearly killed his hated rival’s son, Legion. A powerful telepath from the onset, Amahl Farouk later proved he was also supported by a malevolent force independent of his own abilities.
